Re: Board updated to latest phpbb version
Unfortunately I can't host it on ghisler.com because it's a VPS with only 2 GB of dedicated RAM. It's very fast for just the static ghisler.com page and doesn't even use the entire 2 GB, but downloads require long connections which overload it quickly.

Please consider increasing the topic title length limit.
Each time I create a topic, I try to give it a reasonable and descriptive title, and most of the time, I meet a kind of Berlin wall that forces me to remove articles, punctuation, and in other ways make my message as weird as possible.
The last straw that motivated me to write this is as follows:
Once I had started a discussion named (120 chars):
What option is responsible for highlighting a file from the search results listbox in the opposite panel upon Ctrl+Arrow
As I can remember, I edited the title a million times to fit the field.
And what can I see now returning there by chance?
Because of the "Re: " addition, the subtitles became as follows:
Re: What option is responsible for highlighting a file from the search results listbox in the opposite panel upon Ctrl+A
I'm shocked, no one was discussing Ctrl+A there! And it took me a good while to understand what I was talking about.
So, I specifically googled https://www.google.com/search?q=phpBB+topic+title+length+limit.
They say,

Thank you.The software enforces the 120-character limit by default.
However, the underlying database column allows titles up to 255 characters.
If you are an administrator and need to adjust this limit, you can alter it manually:
- Update the Template:
You will need to edit the maxlength attribute in your active style's template file (e.g., styles/prosilver/template/posting_editor.html).- Update the Core Functions:
Adjust the string length limit in the includes/functions_posting.php file.

Re: Board updated to latest phpbb version
Actually I prefer shorter titles, because they make browsing the forum easier. It also forces posters to think what's the essence of their post. Otherwise they could put everything in the title and then post "see title".

@ghisler(Author)
https://www.ghisler.com/androidapp.htm2 still shows 3.60 as the most recent version when its 3.62
(not to mention that theres no link to the github page
)
And to be honest, am I the only one that thinks the forum links belong under Contents and not Links, as the forum ist not an external Webpage?
