Lister not showing in same screen as TC

Despite having wincmd.ini configured with "SameScreenAsTC=7", when I open Lister it opens in a different screen, and without maximizing the window. I've tried to move the Lister window to the desired screen and go to menu "Configuration" > "Save Position", but it didn't help. I've also tried to edit wincmd.ini and set SameScreenAsTC to 5 and then back to 7, but the result was the same.

Configuration > Save Position saves the position of TC's main window. If you want to save the Lister's position you have to use Options > Save position in Lister's menu.

Not sure what SameScreenAsTC is supposed to do.

With SameScreenAsTC set if you for example have configured both TC and Lister to open in the left screen, and you then move TC (temporarily) to another screen and press F3, then Lister will open on that other screen instead of still opening on the left screen

It may be because TC is maximized, so the top-left corner is (with border) a few pixels to the left of the rightmost screen.
Can you test with TC not maximized?

Well, I've seen Dalai's reply and used the "Options" > "Save Position" menu in Lister, and then it remained in the screen I wanted. But, in order to test what you asked me, I edited wincmd.ini and deleted these settings under [Lister]: "Maximized", "x", "y", "dx", "dy", and opened Lister again, and it went back to the left screen, even with the main screen not maximized (and very far from display edges).

In my tests, SameScreenAsTC=7 only seems to work as long as you don't save the position of Lister. When you save it on a different screen, it always opens there. I'm not sure whether this is better or SameScreenAsTC=7 should take precedence.
