Nope, I do not think we need to wait for TC 6.54.

Reasons:
Pretty simple:
(1) We are talking about the standalone programme lister.exe, not the internal lister included in TC 6.53 which offers full IrfanView 3.97 support.
(2) The previous lister32.zip available at fileburst was a public beta dated 22.02.2005, so it somehow corresponded to TC internal lister V6.51.
(cf. this thread http://www.ghisler.ch/board/viewtopic.php?t=6704)
(3) This final lister.exe very likely corresponds to the current internal lister inside TC 6.53.

Am I right, Christian?

Yes, you are right, the new lister is based on the same code as TC 6.53.

Sory for the dumb question.
Suppose someone wants to use that new Lister.exe in conjunction with
TC or Integrated into TC 6.53 . Where do I put it ??
There is nor external lister.exe in TC.

Great use of <CTRL>B and then <CTRL>F11 to see all EXE files in TC main directory. No lister there though.

Pretty old thread but I wonder if the standalone Lister32 supports installed 32bit plugins?

It says it reads by default wincmd.ini, but not sure if it reaches it in the User/AppData/Roaming/GHISLER folder or not?

The changelog of the included manual states: "22.02.05 Added lister plugin support from Total Commander 6.x"

The standalone lister32 was build in 2007 and is derived from Total Commander v6.0 source code and thus fairly outdated. Note that it supports 32-bit plugins only.
