Can I switch between multiple PCs? Will my license be revoked?

Post by *Jorge24 »

I currently have Total Commander installed on my Windows 11 PC.
However, I would like to install it on my 2 other PCs which run Windows 10.

I read that as long as it's only a single user (me) then the license should be ok to install in multiple computers right?
However, I often switch between my different computers and even if I dont physically use more than 1 PC at a time, the other 2 might be turned on and Total Commander would be running on them if I install it there.

Will this be an issue?

No issue at all. See for example this statement from Mr. Ghisler:
ghisler(Author) wrote: 2022-10-13, 14:47 UTC Yes, all keys with licence number 9474 and higher work with all versions of Total Commander, including the 16-bit version. You have unlimited upgrade and downgrade rights. You also need just one license for all your PCs and virtual machines, even if you run Total Commander on multiple at the same time. So no need to purchase an extra license for Windows 3.x if you already have a license for a current Windows.

TOTALCMD.CHM > General Information > Licence
Registered version (personal licence)

The registered version may be installed on as many computers as desired, as long as it is used by only one person at any one time (I.e. one installation at home and one at the office used by the same person). Therefore you need only one licence for a port connection between two computers. The usage by multiple people at the same time (on multiple computers) requires additional licences.
