potvrzení o smazání: How to disable the deletion confirming message ?

Hello, please advise. How to cancel the annoying message confirming the deletion of a file or folder?

I tried checking individual settings and unchecking none, but I still get the message. In Windows, I don't have a check box in the recycle bin properties: show confirmation request when deleting.

Have you tried the Confirmation options under Configuration/Options/Misc. ?

If you are on Windows Vista or newer (doesn't work on Windows XP), then add the line
VistaDelete=1
To the wincmd.ini, section [Configuration]

If you still get a confirmation dialog from Windows, right click on the F8 delete dialog and disable confirmation messages for recycle bin.
Please note that you cannot remove confirmation for direct delete (bypassing recycle bin).

Thanks, but it only works on local drives. The message keeps appearing on network drives. Can this also be removed please? Thanks.

That's because network drives don't normally support the recycle bin. There are hacks to make it work on network drives, though.
