Auto-handle rename conflicts in batch renamer

Suppose I want to rename photos to IMG_<timestamp> and I have some files with identical timestamps. Currently I have to change pattern or close renamer and deselect conflicting files.
It would be nice to be able to e.g. do possible renames (there should be a button in the error message) and leave conflicting files for another rename rename pass, where I can e.g. modify pattern.
Or maybe you could add an option to auto-rename conflicting names like desktop TC has (it may be done also as a button in the error message).
Or maybe both options could be added (so error message would show three buttons: OK, auto-rename, rename possible).
