How do I show the OneDrive Cloud storage in one of my TC panes?
Our Network lets me map several drive letters and I have several where I drag and drop between TC panes. My company is migrating one of my personal folders from the network storage drive map to Microsoft OneDrive. So, my question is how do I show the OneDrive folder in one of my TC panes? I did do a search for "cloud" but did not see anything.
Re: OneDrive Cloud storage
Normaly you have a OneDrive app which stores local copies of the OneDrive files and folders.
You can also use the TC cloud plugin.

Re: OneDrive Cloud storage
Thanks for the reply. I haven't used OneDrive so I guess if there is a window with the App, I could drag files over there. I think I may miss being able to use the nice features in TC to search within files and doing the multiple file rename plus the other features.
I'll have to look for the plugin.

The Cloud plugin can be downloaded via the official TC homepage: https://www.ghisler.com/plugins.htm#filesys

Re: OneDrive Cloud storage
Normally you should have a "OneDrive" subfolder in c:\users\your_user_name

Re: OneDrive Cloud storage
You are correct and I found the OneDrive folder off my C: drive where you said it would be. I did D/L the Cloud plugin and was trying to get it to work but I supplied my credentials in the dialog box and it then asked for authentication. Our Draconian IT people want 2 step authentication, and you have to put some numbers in your cell phone to gain access. I thought I had done it and it said I needed administrator approval to do something, so I gave up. I have to call our help desk every time I want to install any software updates because I do not have Admin rights to the PC.
I can navigate over to the C: drive location and be able to use the TC features that I have come to depend on.
BTW, I don't seem to be getting eMail notification when someone replies to this thread. I have my company address listed and it may be getting sent to a spam folder. I'll have to switch to my Gmail address to see if it helps.

In this regard you may find it useful the Microsoft Authenticator for mobile phones (iOS/Android):
https://www.microsoft.com/en-ww/security/mobile-authenticator-app
I'm using one and it makes Microsoft-related authentications a really easy-peasy-ish one-touch move.
A user can check %OneDrive% and %OneDriveConsumer% environment variable values to get personal OneDrive locations for sure (within a 'Current User' scope), and %OneDriveCommercial% for the corporate OneDrive.
Still, you would need to pass authentication on the Microsoft side to access OneDrive. Our Draconian IT people want 2 step authentication, and you have to put some numbers in your cell phone to gain access.

It can be specific. My OneDrive subfolder there does not relate to the actual OneDrive location.ghisler(Author) wrote: 2023-06-14, 22:21 UTC Normally you should have a "OneDrive" subfolder in c:\users\your_user_name

Fantastic. OneDrive Personal: 2FA works, TC - Commands - Synchronize Dirs... works. It doesn't work with OneDrivePersonal's PersonalVault however.
Is there any chance that you could make it work for OneDrivePersonal's PersonalVault as well?
Thanks
