[11.00bx64] Quick Search in history/tabs/syncdirs: first letter is shown as selected (but it is not)

Post by *Flint »

1. Open the navigation history, or the list of tabs, or Sync Dirs and run comparison to show the list of files.
2. Type any letter to show Quick Search (if SyncDirs, make sure the focus is in the file list).
3. The letter appears in the input box, and shown as selected text. However, it does not behave as selected: pressing Del does not delete it, pressing a second letter does not replace it, but is appended at the end (and these actions drop this fake selection).

Reproduces in 11.00b9 x64. In 32-bit version this does not happen, the letter is typed normally. Also, this does not happen in 64-bit in the usual file panel quick search. Only in the history/tabs/syncdirs.

Indeed I'm using a workaround to this bug in the main window (add the key to the edit box with a delay), otherwise Windows would only update the selection internally but still display it as selected. I will use this workaround also in the history and tab dialogs.

And I too confirm, although while testing I found another issue. Reported separately.
