Hello there, first at all, THANKS A LOT for all your work and effort.
I recently put a special name on a folder of my hard drive, the name is:
"R4ˢ Dongle" note the special S which is the Unicode character U+02E2 (ˢ) after I did put that name to this folder, each time I use the Synchronize Directories function to find differences between a folder parent to that one or a subfolder of that folder and a copy on another disk I get the error:

If I open the folder on Total Commander 10.52 the folder can be accessed with out problem:

on Windows CMD the name is not displayed correctly, as you can see my CMD is using code-page ASCII 437 so no wonder:

How can I help to debug the problem?
Again, thanks a lot for your help.

Re: synchronize directories Read error!
I have created a folder "R4ˢ Dongle" on my system and put a file and subdirectory in it, and i can synchronize it just fine.
- What drive type is drive H: ?
- The error comes from reading a subfolder of R4ˢ Dongle, not R4ˢ Dongle dongle itself. Can you access that folder too?

Re: synchronize directories Read error!
Hello there, Thanks a lot for your quick response.
H: is an external USB hard drive, N: is a new internal Hard drive
The problem only arise when try to use the Synchronize function.
But taking more evidence to answer your questions I found what inside the folder there is a SYMLINKD which seems broken, so that become the error.
Sorry for the mistake.
