Well, you can use Bombus jabber-client, it support MSNM gates. And BTW, do you know that in 65th series we have built-in WV instant messaging client from Siemens?

Two other programs you have to know about %):

With Menu creator for Siemens x65 you can create and edit menus the way you like - traditional graphical, with nine or even twelve entries, animated or not, text menus with one big image per entry, small images per each entry or w/o images. You can regroup submenus, change their names and commands, etc, etc.

Direct Softkey Editor - well, it modifies your phone KBD layout, you can change keys' and joystick's default commands and it's even more interesting for you because of that two "butterfly" keys under joystick in your "VB" case %).[/face]

No, I mean why you ask?

Do you mean 7z files or zip files produced by the 7zip archiver? I just tried to read 7z packed file (LZMA compression) and MicroReader shows me binary content of archive.
And BTW, do you know that in 65th series we have built-in WV instant messaging client from Siemens?
I can't find it, how to activate it?

How do you know about all this programs? By browsing mobile forums? Or there are some online archives like clubtotal or wincmd.ru?

You won't believe - just curious %). As for me, I use UMC.

p> Do you mean 7z files or zip files produced by the 7zip archiver?

I mean LZM-compressed files - please read MicroReader's documentation and Readme.

MicroReader doesn't support 7-zip archive headers yet, but I already asked Trond to consider this functionality.

p> I can't find it, how to activate it?

Via patch, of course, like everything else in Siemens SW %), Main Menu entry 5/2. It was disabled in 7th SW for some inunderstandable reasons - well, that inspired guys make a lot of strange things... And the most strange thing is that client do works %). BTW, another nice midlet from Siemens - WeatherForecast (JAD, JAR), it works too %).

Take a look here and here - these are most powerful Siemens users communities.

BTW, you can create and edit color schemes by EBS DeLuxe (with CX65 plugin).[/face]

It's strange, but this NSIS installation includes plugininst.inf! Can the author get a rid of this NSIS installer and use just RAR/ZIP packed bunch of files with plugininst.inf included?
Plugin works fine, properties are available (no exception generated) and OBEX session closes correctly.
BTW, what does RTS and DTS checkboxes mean (see properties dialog)?

Guess the DTS is a typo that means CTS.

RTS/CTS is term from RS232 Interface (i.e. COM-Port).

For serial data transmission you can youse minimal- cable with 3 wires. Standard is connection with 7 wires.

RTS means Request To Send. So if a sender wants to transmit data it activates the RTS. Thus Receiver knows that the Sender wants to send data. When the Receiver is ready to get the data (buffer clear etc.) it activates CTS. Then the Sender knows it could send data.

If you have only 3-wire connection the RTS and CTS is connected at each side. Thus if the sender is activating RTS it simultaneuos activates it's own CTS and will begin to send.

Then the software has to check that tha transmission has reached the receiver and no collision is occured.

With RTS/CTS installed (7-wire connection) you will get a better transmission performance, because you avoid collision by hardware. But if RTS/CTS is used with 3-wire cable you may not even get a connection.

What about coffee? %)

Well, I have a A65 which is a quite simple one.
I tried your plugin and it works fine, but I'm not playing around with the features ... up to now.

It seems to run stable, so I it's time to be more brave ...

(I use SiMoCo for the phonebook management)

Thanks for the plugin anyway !

Well, nice to hear, though it's not mine - author is VNavigator (as you can read in subj :).

s> I'm not playing around with the features ... up to now.

What cable do you use and what features you talking about?

s> It seems to run stable, so I it's time to be more brave ...

I use an Siemens USB-cable with ON/OFF switch.

Until now I just used it to exchange sounds and pics. Just like with MPM Phone explorer, but with TC and all its embedded list and edit features.

"New features" in my eyes are "Hidden disk" , "OD 2" and the "AT Terminal" for the very deep commands.
