Total commander can not copy to Android

Post by *jjou »

Windows 10 Total commander 11.02 connect to Android phone via USB.
I am able to use the Microsoft file manager to copy the files to mibile phone.
1. How come I can not use Total Commander to copy the files without any error message.
Just a warning sound.

There are two connection as the attached file show.
2.What is the difference between them?
I suppose the left one is the computer network neighbor ?

For me, Total Commander here works the same way and does the same things as the Explorer.
Upon connection via cable, my phone throws a pop-up for the permission confirmation dialog, and if I choose to allow access, I can see no further difference between the two.
Of course, it is assumed, that a user setups all the required options (related to the USB connection) on their phone at first.

Regarding your image, the icon on the left is the network neighborhood, and the right one - is a connection to your phone (which may also be accessed in other way, but this is excessive info here by now).
The former is always there, the latter appears only upon active phone connection.
The network neighborhood entries may relate to the phone connection only if a user installs some wfx plugins; but by default, in the case of the vanilla state of Total Commander -- they don't.
