Confirmed.sa16 wrote: ↑2024-02-15, 12:18 UTC I have this behavior in the TC11.01-11.03.
There is a command: cm_Edit /CGL0N="<[P].txt"
When this command does not work (creates a .txt file instead of Parent_folder.txt), I execute the cm_Edit /C command (you can refuse to create a file) and everything gets better.
When this command works correctly (creates a file Parent_folder.txt), I execute the NewFolder (F7) command (you can refuse to create a folder) and everything breaks down.

Placeholders like [P] are not currently supported with G because they are replaced within the edit box.

Well, as mentioned by sa16, it works after you have one time used it without G. And then it stops working again when you use F7.ghisler(Author) wrote: ↑2024-02-15, 14:44 UTC Placeholders like [P] are not currently supported with G because they are replaced within the edit box.

I could not find anything related to this phrase in a CHM help file.ghisler(Author) wrote: ↑2024-02-15, 14:44 UTC Placeholders like [P] are not currently supported with G because they are replaced within the edit box.
I am overlooked something special and under small font?
And of course see White's note above! Can also confirm Very unstable behavior.

Confirmed.
Immediately after opening TC or executing cm_Edit /C from the command line, the command from the button is executed correctly, and after F7 and Esc it's incorrect.

Re: [TC 11.03rc6] cm_edit: placeholder [P] not always working in /N parameter
The reason is that the field "last current file" isn't set when you call the command directly. I will fix it.

Re: [TC 11.03rc6] cm_edit: placeholder [P] not always working in /N parameter
I will pass the name of the file (with full path), its size and time to the placeholder parser also with /G option. Currently it's only passed there when not using the /G option, so it only worked when using regular cm_edit first.

All right, thank you for adding!15.02.24 Fixed: cm_Edit with parameter /CGL0N="<[P].txt" didn't work correctly (some placeholders like name or path couldn't be handled) (32/64)
