Really basic file copy is confusing to new user

I'm on TC v3.50 on a Google Pixel4 Android phone.
I have a FAT32 USB stick connected to the phone, which TC is able to see. All I hoped to do was copy a 2MB JPG from the phone Internal Storage DCIM 'Camera' folder to the USB stick.
But it was extremely confusing.
First I navigated to the picture, did a long press to see some options, and selected "Copy to clipboard". Then I navigated to the stick drive and... there is no Paste command!
So I navigated to the picture, did a long press to see some options, and selected "Send to Total Commander". Not very intuitive but OK. However, that doesn't allow any navigation to find a destination folder!
I tried the other menu "Send to" options but those all involve other apps.
I DID NOT try the "Copy / Move / Send via Bluetooth" because I thought this meant only via Bluetooth and I didn't yet have a connection.
I did find an icon at the lower left that looks like two sheets of paper; so probably a "copy" function. A long press on that pops the info that this is for Bluetooth, which isn't what I wanted.
I finally discovered that, after a long press and "Copy to clipboard", a short press on the 2-sheet icon brings up a general (not Bluetooth only) Copy / Move function, which - even though the file does not appear to be selected - let me copy it to the stick drive.
LATER I found that a long press on the file then "Copy / Move / Send via Bluetooth" actually means "Copy or Move Including via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi".
So I suggest: Change the name of that function, and the info pop-up on the 2-sheets icon.
Also: Send To Total Commander should be able to browse; and there should be a "Paste" function if we navigate somewhere after "Copy to clipboard".
Thanks
