How to upload a local file once connection is made on Android

I can connect to a website via Total Commander FTP for Android, but after that is done, what is the process to upload a file ?
Swipe left or right to open the the the phone storage in the opposite panel. Navigate to the file you want to upload, Tap on the icon/icons of the files you want to upload, and then tab on the copy - icon in the button bar (the 2nd button from the left).
If you rotate your phone into landscape position, you can see both panels at the same time.
