SFTP Plugin for Android Total Commander drains (eats, exhausts) battery

Hello

I've noticed that SFTP plugin sometimes drains the battery of device. I use this plugin for files exchange between the computer with SFTP server and the Android phone with Total Commander. I use such connections during not long amount of time, about 15 minutes per day. After files transfer is finished I close the connection with the plugin's "Disconnect" button.

Bellow screens with the problem.

if the screens above are not working, please try this link to shared folder with screens images.

The phone is Xiaomi Redmi 7A with Android 9.
Is this known issue? Please, try to fix it if this energy leak is happening because of some bug in the plugin.

Thanks, Anton.

Unfortunately I cannot reproduce that. It sounds like your connection is hanging somehow.
Total Commander should unload the plugin when you open another plugin in the same file panel. Does this help?

Thanks for the reply.
I think this must solve my issue. After disconnecting I usually did not leave SFTP panel. Just minimized Total Commander. Thought that using only "Disconnect" button is enough. Most likely problem was because of that. I will test new approach.

Normally disconnect is indeed enough, but not when the connection hangs.
