Compare by Content Binary mode: edit posibility.

Hi there TC addicts (like me!)
It would be nice when comparing two files by content in binary mode to have the possibility to edit differences. Copy Paste or just by typing in Hex or Character mode.
Idea? if so i can test the beta out.
kind regards
Rob

What about no large interest of doing such editing in compare content.

I rarely hex-edit files, but if I do I might do a comparison by content in TC. However, even if I want to copy some values from one file to the other I do this in (the already open) hex editor (usually HxD).
So in short, I have no need to be able to copy values in binary mode.
One thing to keep in mind is that TC maps large files into memory, disabling the option to edit these files in the compare by content window. By default this is done for files larger than 1 MiB (see MaxCompareSizeInMem setting). It's much more likely that files shown as binary are larger which means that editing these files won't be possible (in TC). What I'm trying to say is that it would be necessary to either increase the limit or to set it higher for files in binary once a feature like the one suggested is implemented.
