Bug in Muti Rename Tool Window

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Bug in Muti Rename Tool Window

Post by *jslegers »

Hi,

When I open the multi rename tool in TC 11.51 I see a gui bug :

Is this known?

This is on a 2560 * 1600 screen.

Looks like a driver issue. I assume it goes away when you drag and or resize the window?

Perhaps check the RenameDX setting in wincmd.ini. Does Total Commander have write access to the wimcmd.ini file?

What is your setting for
Windows' scaling

What are your settings In TC's "Fonts" configuration for:
"Set dots per inch (DPI) to:"
"Automatically adjust dialog boxes to larger fonts"
"Dialog box font"

Hello,

Thanks for the answers. I will check these tonight.
Indeed when I drag the window it is normal.

I think the answer to " Does Total Commander have write access to the wimcmd.ini file?" is no. I need to check. It is a good one. I have TC installed in Program Files and the ini file is also in there.

You can press Alt+Enter on the ini file and then give yourself write access via "Permissions".

Even though you have .ini files there, it doesn't mean that TC is using them. You can see which .ini files TC is using by opening "Help" -> "About Total Commander"
