Hello everyone,
I hope you're all well. I’ve been toying with the idea of how Total Commander could be made even more efficient, particularly when it comes to handling bookmarks and the various plugins that we all love to use.
I recently came across a few tools designed specifically for managing bookmarks, things like adding tags, making notes, and organising content with a bit more finesse. It got me thinking that some of these features could be quite useful within Total Commander, especially when juggling multiple plugins and file management tasks.
Wouldn't it be marvellous if there was a way to integrate a similar level of control over bookmarks and perhaps even introduce an easier way to sync them across different instances of TC? Personally, I find myself constantly searching for a more streamlined method to manage my various files, so any thoughts or suggestions on plugins or ways to implement this would be much appreciated!
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts, and thank you in advance for any insights!
Cheers!

Re: A modest suggestion for improving bookmark and plugin management
I would like to "bookmark files" and be able to navigate to it as well - I've setup a poll with some suggestions here https://www.ghisler.ch/board/viewtopic.php?t=85819
* I do use file comments fairly often but they are more for notes and not bookmarking as such although you could use it for such a purpose. There is also the NTFS Descriptions plugin https://www.ghisler.ch/board/viewtopic.php?t=12538 - https://totalcmd.net/plugring/NTFS_diz.html
* and there is the twinkey -- viewtopic.php?t=22950 -- plugin/addon which has a bookmark feature
