Show milliseconds in file attributes

Post by *yong »

TC 11.55 rc3 allows users to enter milliseconds when changing file attributes, this is very useful
but I would like to see some further improvements in the change attributes dialog:

* add a milliseconds placeholder (.zzz) in the time box
* show milliseconds in the time/value box when user loads attributes from file under cursor
* show milliseconds when user clicks the >> button to enter new values
* add support for milliseconds when saving/loading settings

Thanks for your attention on this matter.

I don't think that's possible. I tried with .zzz and .fff as described here but the time picker control only shows the string and does not allow to set milliseconds. So for now I will leave it as it is.

Sounds reasonable but what about the other suggestions? I prefer TC's change attribute dialog over that in Double Commander because I can select and copy the date/time field as a whole string, so it's preferable if milliseconds are shown there.

It would make it harder for people to load a time from a file and then edit it, because most people don't care about milliseconds.
