Well, Total Commander only knows about the window handle returned to it via ListLoad function. The plugin should return the window embedded into Lister there.

I understand, but this makes it difficult to find the necessary handle, except by the list of classes for some plugins.

Then why not call GetFocus directly?

As I explained above, the actual focus may not be on the file or quick view panels.

Logically, TC always knows which of the two panels is selected, highlighting the header with a different color, regardless of which of the listed commands was executed.
