SMB can't connect

Hi!

I'm using Windows 11 Pro on my desktop computer, where I have three shared folders and user name/password authentication is disabled. I can connect to everything else just fine (e.g., the Dune HD media player), but not from my Android TC.

The error messages are: "SMB2 AUTH: Cannot require message signing when authenticating with guest account" and "com.hierynomus.smbj.session.SMB2GuestSigningRequiredException: Cannot require message signing when".

What can I do about this?

user name/password authentication is disabled

Unfortunately this isn't currently supported by the plugin. To support it, I need to know exactly how you disabled user name/password authentication on Windows 11. Here other users also had troubles to access such shares:
