Bug - Escape key has no effect on ExtractToEdit confirmation

Post by *Csimbi »

Hi all,
I found an issue.
Enter an archive, and press F4 on any file (like You wanted to edit it).
You will be asked whether You want to extract the file to edit it.
Press ESC. It has no effect. I think it should take the default action "Cancel" - like anywhere else in TC.
Thanks.
Best regards: Csimbi

I guess it was once explained as Windows' behavior, when I asked the same question about Ctrl-Shift-W.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

Yes, this is a standard Windows "Yes/No" message box behaviour: it does not handle the Esc key. It is possible to change the message box type into e.g. "Yes/No/Cancel" - then the message box will handle the Esc key well, but there will be a logical duplicate ("No" equals to "Cancel")...
