Custom views: Ability to reorder or hide Name & Ext

I would like to revive an 10 year old suggestion

At the very least TC should acknowledge the user intention when settings Aligned extension=0 ie HIDING the EXT column in Custom Views unless explicitly added by the user.

Updated suggestions:
-In active view, ability to hide-display any field with just a click of a mouse (make that choice persistent for the tab if the user enabled view retention when TC is closed)

-Able to reorder or hide Name and Ext in the Custom views designer.

Sad to notice they were all ignored.
I guess I should not hold my breath on this one.
