Re: Logviewer for Total Commander
1. Not fixed.
2. Not added.
3. In the 'Pattern:' field, it's still ?????. If one switch to /Color Rules/ and press Esc, the current value resets, and you need to enter it again and click Update.
4. Why is case sensitive?

Re: Logviewer for Total Commander
This plugin insists on storing its setting in the path of the installed CodeViewer plugin under
C:\Tools\Wincmd\PLUGINS\CodeViewer\CodeViewer.ini
but it is installed under
C:\Tools\Wincmd\PLUGINS\LogViewer\

could you verify plugin path in TCs settings?Horst.Epp wrote: 2026-05-30, 14:24 UTC This plugin insists on storing its setting in the path of the installed CodeViewer plugin under

ini is stored in GPluginDir + 'LogViewer.ini'. it does not know CodeViewer.ini nor utilizes any other path.

Found the problem.
There was a strange character in the ini file.
It started CodeViewer instead og LogViewer.
Now it stores a new ini file in the LogViewer dir.
Btw. the display of CodeViewer for Log files looks much better than LogViwer

Re: Logviewer for Total Commander
The same as before:
1. It is necessary to either do an inversion or, even better, adjust the font color. It's also worth coloring the buttons on the toolbar in the same color, if possible.1. The toolbar color is fine now, but the font may blend in with the dark bg.
2. There are no changes to the status bar yet.
2. It's all the same as I wrote about earlier. Also, the status bar text doesn't fit into the first cell.
3-4. Fixed. Thanks.
5. Please remove scrollbars when the text fits in the window.
The main advantage of this plugin is the text patterns and highlighting of the background lines according to them, which is not available in CodeViewer. But if you are talking about syntax highlighting, then it would definitely be better with it.Horst.Epp wrote: 2026-05-30, 15:19 UTC the display of CodeViewer for Log files looks much better than LogViwer

of course that's possible, but not desired to configure each and every gui part seperately.
REMOVED option for bar colors.
looks like this automatically.
fixed auto switching and detection of darkmode

Re: Logviewer for Total Commander
I'm not saying that they have to be the same by default. I showed with the example of two plugins how you can adapt the appearance using font settings and status bar height, which is what is required from you.as you can see, they are all different on my system. hard to fix
I didn't write about separately, I wrote:of course that's possible, but not desired to configure each and every gui part seperately.
The current toolbar setting should be common to the panel and buttons.Fla$her wrote:It's also worth coloring the buttons on the toolbar in the same color, if possible.
But where does the plugin get this toolbar bg color from? It doesn't suit me.fixed auto switching and detection of darkmode
2. There is more text in the first cell than in the second, but when the window/panel width is reduced, for some reason it is the first one that starts to shrink. It shouldn't be like that.
5. No. You only have the option to display the horizontal bar. This has nothing to do with inactive scrollbars (vertical and horizontal) without a slider.

Re: Logviewer for Total Commander
Will see if I can get these information from the ini and from the total commander process

please check
Re: Logviewer for Total Commander
Window BG does not work now. The lower part is filled in with a custom color.
At the same time, before rendering the components, the plugin window with this color "Window BG" flickers quickly somewhere on 3/4 of the screen. This has never happened before.
The status bar and toolbar have the "correct" dark background. But I didn't understand, where does it come from? I thought about the BackColor or DarkBackground keys, but no, it's not them..
The text on the dark toolbar has become yellow.
Otherwise, nothing has changed. The font and cells are the same.
PS. I haven't figured out the Format tab yet. I also tried 'Custom (user-defined)', but no matter what I set, nothing changes.
