1) create new directory
2) copy some files inside
3) compress the directory (right click -> Properties -> Advanced... -> Compress contents to save disk space -> Apply changes to this folder, subfolders and files)
4) Files -> Calculate Occupied Space... on directory shows Actual space used as 0 Bytes (*)
5) go into the directory, select all files and try again, the Actual space used is now non-zero
6) check Properties of directory and Size on disk in system dialog agrees with 5)
(*) It may be non-zero, but still way too low. I first encountered it on ~18GB directory where it claimed it was ~200MB. In reality it was ~5GB, but it was all text files with very similar repeating lines, so even though 200MB was suspicious, it didn't seem completely impossible. I even admired how good the compression was.
Plus I trust TC so much that the possibility of it being wrong didn't came to mind.Tested on Windows 10 and Server 2022. TC 11.57a RC1 with clean config. But it's not new, quick test with some older versions, that I have lying around, says that it broke somewhere between 11.03 and 11.56 (edit: found few more, last ok was 11.51).
