[TC 11.58rc3] Lost subdirs paths focus inside arcihve after tab switch
1. Open password protected (header encrypted) RAR file with subdirs existing inside
2. To to any subdir, move cursor to any file and pay attention to it.
3. Switch to another tab on same side of filepanel.
4. Switch back to in-archive tab.
5. Under-cursor focus is lost, you got kicked to the root of archive.
TC 11.57 works fine.

That is by design:you got kicked to the root of archive.

Ok, it makes some troubles in my daily work. How can I disable that?

Re: [TC 11.58rc3] Lost subdirs paths focus inside arcihve after tab switch
I don't think you currently can.How can I disable that?
I think that if Remember password is enabled - this new "feature" should not be used - if you have chosen to remember the password, you have given up protection against other people prying. - so hiding the folder name in the folder tab title is unimportant. What is important is to not save the encrypted folder names in wincmd.ini

I have considered this, but then the password is forgotten when you minimize TC, but the paths would remain.I think that if Remember password is enabled - this new "feature" should not be used

Re: [TC 11.58rc3] Lost subdirs paths focus inside arcihve after tab switch
I will use the following solution: Keep the subdir when switching to other tabs when a password is remembered.
Then revert them to the archive root when the password is forgotten when minimizing or closing TC, or when the screen saver starts.
Then revert them to the archive root when the password is forgotten when minimizing or closing TC, or when the screen saver starts.

Re: [TC 11.58rc3] Lost subdirs paths focus inside arcihve after tab switch
This has been changed in Total Commander 11.58 RC4, please test!
Please note that when duplicating a tab in the background, the new tab still reverts to the root of the archive.14.06.26 Fixed: When switching away from a tab showing a subdirectory of a header-encrypted archive, do not revert to the root of the archive if the user has chosen to remember the password. Only revert when forgetting the password, e.g. when minimizing (32/64)
