How to bypass the packer plugin 'md5'?
by default, If I press 'enter' on a 'md5' file, tc will automatically check the integrity of the related files/dirs.
I have install a wlx named 'checksum' (from ghisler.com), which handles md5 and sha-1 checksums. md5 files are treated as 'packed', which means that 'enter' or double click on it will 'open' the file, rather than auto-ckecking. is it possible to let tc still check files when press 'enter'?

wcx, not wlx.
Install TC_plugman, mark the checksum plugin and press "Tweak". Check "Don't open with Enter but with Ctrl+PgDn".

Thank you very much, ICFU you are right!
following your instruction,, I checked 'don't open with enter but with ctrl-pagdown' with the 'md5' extension. Unfortunately, when i press enter on a md5 file, tc still open the 'packed file' (just the same as ctrl-pagedown'), not autocheck integrity.
any suggestion

@Zenman:
I can only assume that this is a problem related to the hardcoded nature of the internal md5 checker. I suggest that you report the bug to ghisler's support address.
There is a workaround:
Instead of "md5" assign the plugin to a dummy extension, for example "md5*", you can also do that directly in TC_plugman: Remove the extension md5 and add md5*.
You will still be able to create md5 archives but you will have to remove the star manually each time you create an archive.
Instead of the plugin there are also very nice standalone checkers available that make the checksum plugin superfluous. For example the tiny DVDSig creates checksum files for the complete directory incl. subdirectories:
http://members.ozemail.com.au/~nulifetv/freezip/freeware/
http://members.ozemail.com.au/~nulifetv/freezip/freeware/dvdsig.exe

Be carefull with this.shift+enter still 'open' the md5 file
As far as I know, Shift+Enter opens 16 bit window, so when using on some other programs, this may show 16 bit window instead of 32 (or maybe 64??).
Not sure how it is handled internaly (I guess TC opens 32 bit process).
Ambiguity succeeds where honesty dares not venture.
Zenman,
a) Why don't you check the md5 file using the wcx plugin? It's faster than TC's internal check.
b) You can still use Files - Verify CRC Checksums.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.
