New to the Team?

Post by *johnp »

I must say that Total Commander is one awesome program! It originally came installed (as a trial, evaluation program) and after having used it for a while, thought it about time to purchase it. I know, that there are a lot of 'cracks' out there for the program, but I liked it so much and found it unfair to the developpers to use a cracked version instead. Keep up the good work.

Welcome on board.

And welcome to the club. ;)

I guess most of us were thinking the same way, so we bought our licenses. And it seems that still many people think like this, so we still get our gratis upgrades.

But anyway, it is always worthy to mention it once again. ;)

I have to admit, I actually ran a cracked version for some time (out of habit, I guess - just didn't think about it). Then one day a couple of years ago it just struck me that I'm using this superior file manager every time I'm at my computer, which is close to every day.

By buying TC for the price of a couple of drinks in a club, I could do something good for the developer that make my life easier every day. There really was no discussion on whether or not I was going to pay for TC or not, and since that day I buy programs I use a lot.

Thanks ghisler for writing this great program, and I'm sorry I didn't buy it earlier :)

Thanks very much - better late than never! :)

And yes, updates will remain free also in the next couple of years.

I keep that saying all the time.

If I can be alowed to compare all softwre genres by good, I am sure that there are less then 10 programs as valuable as TC.

...
Now, saying all that, would you consider switching open source :) :)
We are not doing this just for the money.
We are doing it for sh*t load of money.
