access violation

Post by *captjlddavis »

Registered user.
TC 6.53

Recently I have been getting an "access violation"
address 0081CBE - read of address 00000004
when doing a file search for *.* containing <some text>. It has happened on several occasions.

Is this a TC or OS error ?

Hopefully the image will appear below at

I guess it's related to the fact that you have activated search in archives. I suggest you to deactivate your packer plug-ins one by one and try to find the bad guy this way.

Unfortunately the footer of the search window was not on your image - it should show the archive name in which TC was searching when you got this error.

Many thanks to Lefteous and ghisler(Author),
