There are rumors that the next version will be bugfix version with number 6.54 (leaked beta proves it). And I do not expect TC 7.0 to be released in one month interval.

- Version 6.54 contains almost only corrections, see history.txt for a list.
- The internal ZIP unpacker now supports the new formats BZIP2 and PPMd
- Command line parameters for uninstaller tcuninst.exe for silent uninstall: /r repair, /0../7 unstall.
Sum of: 1=desktop icon, 2=start menu entries, 4=all settings files

And TC uses new TCUNZLIB.DLL and Unrar.dll.

But I wouldnt use this Beta 2 as it is patched to work with a KeyFile that TC v6.53 doesnt recognize as a real KeyFile and who knows what else was patched in this Exe ?
(Edit: and apart from that even there is only a russian Helpfile in the Powerpack)

To clear things up!

First of all nothing is official until stated otherwise by Christian himself.

Now, Christian made the decision to release an intermediate version due to a
great number of bugs since reliability, security and safety are correctly his
primary concerns.

He has inform beta testers that the majority of upcoming additional features that
will be included in version 7.0 are complete and that beta testing of those
features will follow immediatly after the official release of v6.54.

So, basically you will soon get a more stable version until the new features are
stable as well for release.

??? What has TCUNZLib.DLL to do with encrytion ? NOTHING!
TCUNZLib.DLL is to decompress ZipFiles.

Thats because the encrypt wcmzip32.dll was, is, and will never be in the tc package - you have to get the dll again somewhere and replace as you did once allready
