limited exclude line

I'd like to use longer exclude line for searching files, but it is limited: why? And is there a work-around?

example:
*.c;*.cfg;*.cmd;*.conf;*.cpl;*.cpp;*.cxx;*.dat;*.dsp;*.dsw;*.gtx;*.h;*.hpp;*.hxx;*.ico;*.ini;*.inl;*.js;*.pl;*.pro;*.py;*.rc;*.reg;*.sh;*.sql;*.tlh;*.txt;*.ui;*.xpm;Makefile;|*away\;*old\;bak\;CVS\;Debug\;extern\;moc\;Recycle*\;Release\;sav*\;.svn\;temp\;tmp*\;ui\;

Have a look here for the reason, AFAIK there is no workaround apart from splitting in two commands

You could search in the search results (after 'feed to Listbox'). So you may create two 'exclude' filters and search two times.
