[REQ] Inverted corsor also with quicksearch dialog

Post by *StickyNomad »

I have configured TC to show an inverted cursor, but when using the search dialog for quicksearch, the cursor always is displayed as a dotted rectangle as long the dialog is open. Therefore -especially when in thumbnail view- I have to look quite closely to recognize what file is actually selected in the file panel.

When searching without the dialog, the cursor is displayed as configured in config->colors, and I'd like to see the same behaviour when the dialog is opened.

Or at least an ini-option like

Code: Select all

UseInvertedCursorWithSearchDialog
(if configured)

should be implemented.

Thanks, I missed that one. The user Lefteous just re-animated an older thread in the beta forum, so I posted there, too. I hope with some success

When you have a little bit of spare time, an answer would be the welcome, that would give pleasure with the users who like TC.

Yes, not or perhaps would be already sufficient!

TIA

In the beta forum, Ghisler stated that he is considerung this request for TC 7. I'll bring this up again when the beta test has been started, I hope it will be implemented.
