Connect to FTP dialog design

Post by *petergus »

I think the Connect to FTP dialog needs a new design.

Some kind of groupsystem with a TreeView or
the same system that Directory hotlist use.

If you have only a few sessions the current design is good.
But if you have a lot of sessions i like too group them.

Also i like too see an option to paste a url.
It is possible to do that but then you must save the session; and sometimes i dont want to save a session i paste.

If you push the "new url"-button in the "Connect to ftp server"-dialog you can add a new server by pasting an url.

Well, if Christian is going to make any changes I hope that he adds an option to pre-answer the "Account" prompt. I don't think that is used much in the PC world but it is used in the mainframe world that I frequently use Total Commander with.
