Currently only directories can be displayed in the filelist. If I want to view a file I have to select the file and open a Lister window or the quickview panel in another window. Viewing a file would be just navigating one level deeper. Pressing the backspace key would work as show parent directory.

I would like to see the following improvements:

  1. A file can be opened in the current filelist by a command when executed under the cursor.
  2. The first ideas implies that a file can be opened by specifying an adress in the adress bar.
  3. The path feature should not be limited to local paths.

This feature could make web browsing possible in TC. Currently I have to open a filesystem plugin directory and choose the file to be viewed.
