Hello Sheepdog!
I recognize you have added all the "edit-fields" into this page.
That is not so usefull, because it took a lot of time to type the text exactly in the same way it appears in the TC Boxes.
The main idea is that a user can search in the wiki for the same phrases he will find in Total Commander!
If somebody want to put further informations for these options in here, one could add a link to a empty page in here easily.

== edit fields ==
Hi Stance,
I did not add the edit fields, it's done by the Wiki Software.
What I did is to make all headlines (of Section Operation) to subsections (by changing the bold '''<nowiki>'''Headline'''</nowiki>''' - tag to the  '''<nowiki> =====Headline=====</nowiki>''' tag. But the whole phrase could not be found by the Wiki search neither the '''<nowiki>'''Headline'''</nowiki>''' nor the '''<nowiki> =====Headline=====</nowiki>''' (Or can you manage to find it?).
Tha advantage is that one could directly link to a particular section (what I just wanted to use for the "Mouse selection mode") with adding a <font size="3">'''#'''</font> followed by the subsection name (e.g. <nowiki>[[Options#Mouse selection mode|Mouse Selection Mode]]</nowiki>.
I used the subsection with 5 equals signs (instead of 4) because the font has the same size as bold. Headlines with 4 equals signs are bigger.
So if there is a way to find those phrases as long as they are only bold but no Subsection Headlines please tell me and I'll be happy to take my changes back. But so long I will keep it as it is. Please try to find "Show symbols to the left of the filename" (which is still only bold) and "Mouse selection mode" (which is a subsection) and then "left of filename" and "Mouse selection" what points at least to the right page.

Hi Sheepdog!
You are right! I just recognize your post in the german "Options"-page.
I just want to be sure that the options-text will not be edited. Anybody can create missing-pages-links in there.
I understand now the benefit of your TOC (direkt linking) and: No, I don't know a better way for this right now!
Please let us use the german Diskussion.

--Stance 14:23, 22 May 2005 (EST) it may need some more formating, I think about some bold text, any ideas?

--Icfu 15:24, 22 May 2005 (EST)
I have no idea, sorry. All I can see is that you have written down all options, what is the sense of this article?

--Stance 11:03, 23 May 2005 (EST)Formating done, looks better now. I have had to take care about all the checkboxes, radiobuttons etc. My idea is to have a "Table of contents" for options. For example I added a link from here to: "hidden/system files". To be done: A version Info must be added.

--Stance 11:22, 25 May 2005 (EST) Added: Version Info.

--Stance 22:16, 16 Jun 2005 (EST) Most content from this new page "Options" are moved from this old: Configuration dialog
Is it possible to erase the "Options" from "Configuration dialog" secure without destroying the new Options?

--Stance 21:04, 17 Jun 2005 (EST) -Done! Configuration dialog cleared and links into this page now.
