There is a thread in the official english forum:

Useful 3rd party tools to complement TC:

where user propose some useful tools. In between those thread spans over 40 pages what makes it easily to loose track. I tried to collect all programs with their links here on one page with short descriptions (as they were available in the origin posts). When I found a link broken I tried to find a working one. That may result sometimes in a link to the wrong program - hope you will forgive me.For those who want to read the originally post I organized the links in sections for each page.

Ok, two incredibly useful utilities that show the power of OpenSource. These are probably the best of its kind:
1. Alt-Tab replacement TaskSwitchXP. The 2.0 series offers a tremendous load of features, there's not much more that can be implemented I think:

TaskSwitchXP_2.0.4b Setup   Everything can be configured: size of preview picture, font,
TaskSwitchXP_2.0.4b zip         hotkeys, minimize to tray function, exclusions, preview picture, etc...

2. WinDirStat It offers statistics and coloring per file type, can read single folders, supports zooming...
