I have set f4menu as it should be set (internal viewer) but now, when I want to use the plugin configure feature in pluginmanager I get an error
I experience the same - I suggest that f4menu.exe should use the default editor when executed by other programs or from the command line, in stead of coming up with that message.

For "Action after cancelling selection menu", the differnece is,
If you select some files with multiple types, and choosed an editor for type (for example, txt) and then press ESC,
the option of "Break and open the processed files" will open *.txt and cancel all the following files.
however, "Break and cancel all selections" will not open *.txt but calcel all files completely.

[2008-01-06 v0.15 final]
+ Language: Korean (thanks to dis1hades2)
! Cannot open UNC file (thanks to SanskritFritz@tc)
! Made option dialog wider

Forenotice for next release:
1. F4Menu will be stand-alone and able to work with any app, not restricted within TC.
2. The language file "English.lng" will be modified according to icfu's suggestion.

Thanks for all your persistent support!

It is fine util indeed, and very good addon to TC.

But there is one more thing I would like to see in f4menu. And that is ability to filter applications; if I press F4 on some image, I would like to se editor associated with image files , so I dont have to scroll through text editors; and to hold some key together with F4 to display all editors

This feature has already been considered, there'are several approaches now,
1. add a new menu column to show all items
2. add a new sub menu to show all items
3. auto hide unassociated items, like office xp's auto-hide menu

which one do you like best? or, any other idea?

May I point your attention to these two rrequests:

Thanks for your great support!
for the "8.3 filenames" request, I'll try to let f4menu support it as choiceeditor, if necessary, I'll add an option as your suggestion.

as for "Open Mode = 2 - Open only file under cursor", do we really need that? I have not realize it's usecase yet, would you please to show it?

Congratulations, daddy! :)

I prefer the idea you had first:
F4 toggles among associated and unassociated editors.

Also I like the idea to have a submenu, as it can be reached with an accelerator.

But, a new menu column which is permanently visible would not be my cup of tea, as it's too distractive for the eyes. Auto-hide from OfficeXP, startmenu, systray, etc... is a feature I really hate. Important for me is the visual separation of associated and unassociated editors and auto-hide would, when expanding, result in the same huge list I already see now. F4Menu touches screen top and bottom meanwhile...

2 Icfu
wonderful view, I'd like to take the submenu approach.:)

however, as a side effect, when we show associated and unassociated separately, drag-drop menu item must upset the whole order, seems this feature should be disabled, does anyone need it?

I think that icfu's suggestion is quite good. F4 can toggle between associated editors and all/unassociated. Drag-drop then can function as before. And it is very functional like that.
