TC 9.01beta Copy dialog animation: wrong direction!!

Post by *Stefan2 »

Bug or feature request?

If I do perform a copy from left to right panel,
I see the process bar animation runs the right direction (left to right)
>>> >>>> >>>

But if I copy from right to left, the animation still runs left to right, instead of right to left!?!
<<< <<<<   <<<<

So how can I set the animation correlates to the copy direction?
Or is this a feature request?

Thanks.

Confirmed in TC 9.01b.
However in TC 8.51 the animation is still fine.

Confirmed in TC 4.01.
What about vertical arrangements.
Should this request expanded to support vertical progress bars with progress from up to down and reverse?

What a strange feature request... Where have you seen reversed progress bars? I agree with HolgerK that vertical progress bars must be done too.

BTW where did you get TC 9.01b?

2HolgerK I would prefer diagonal or orthogonal or circle form of progress bars.

how can one say they are absolutely impossible?" Leibniz

If happen to have an old download link from year 1999 (27.07.99)for beta 4.01,
you just have to modify the 4.01b to 9.01b in the URL to point to the new downlad on the old forum address.
But you will need also the old beta tester password ("lirpalirpa") to get access.

EDIT:
download seems only to perform with Netscape 4.08 on W2k, sorry

Argh, I got it. :D But it works for me with Netscape 4.02 under WinMe (I can't use newest versions).

Is it too late for another request? I am afraid TC does not copy data correctly. As we all know from TV shows, data is only copied if various images of given data flash on the screen during copy. How come TC's copy routine does not do this? Is it faulty?

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

Isn't this a configurable behavior?

2: Like 1, but with a not segmented bar (only supported in classic theme)
4: Turn off privacy protection

HolgerK,
Ah, my fault, not a bug but a feature! Thanks!
