There are many plugins on the official site which don't care about the provided functions for INI file location.
In my opinion only plugins that apply to this standard should be listed on the official site. That could force plugin authors to change their plugins.
What do you think?

But plugin(s) with big amount function, and usage much adjustments (IMHO) must have its halyard(s) adjustment. To example SynPlus uses:
SynPlus.ini - Plugin ini file.
HGLs.ini - Highlighters configuration file
and ...
[Highlighters] - folder for highlighters files, which too possible edit
[cfg] - folder for SynPlus configuration files.
And as all this realize in proposed by yours variant

Ok. If plugin idle time, executes little functions and has little adjustments - I agree. There are many plugins on the official site which don't care about the provided functions for INI file location.

Exactly that's the best way. Take the path provided by TC and create a subdirectory for all setting stuff. So if plugin use a big number of ini-files it creates its own subdir in wincmd.ini-path.
It's not a good idea. See more in the Imagine thread for details. How about a section in plugin-dir-located SynPlus.ini with adjustable location for ini-files?
Sorry, didn't see the same question on the previous pageSCHMaster wrote:2cornyDisable this in left panel (History). Is it possible to not save the cursor position within files opened as readonly

However, in plugin configuration, option history, there is no option which disables saving the cursor position. The only options are "extract and show icons" and "autoclear history". The last option doesn't work for me, even when the "Maximum lines amount" is set to 0 (also amount of 1000 doesn't work).

Bug with SynPlus 2.3
2 SCHMaster :
Once I converted my UltraEdit wordfile for my highlighters using the new converter in SynPlus 2.3, I opened one of my files to "view" with SunPlus, and suddenly I got this error message :
External Exception EEDFADE
Please Report this error to the Author,
with a description of what you were doing when this error occurred!
Continue Execution ?
And I have to click on "NO" to close everything even Total Commander.
Using Windows 2000 SP4, TC 6.03a, SynPlus 2.3, UltraEdit 10.10c & 10.20c
