Could Synchronize Directories include an option to limit copy speeds, as in the Background Transfer Manager? I want to limit copy speeds in order to control thermal or mechanical wear on external drives.
Thanks
Thanks

Everything 1.5a can index various file properties, length/resolution/bit rate/frame rate for videos but there's much more, it's very comprehensive.
Since everything work well with the folder size calculations in TC, it might be useful to have these indexed properties available for custom columns.

There isn't a single program in existence that stays in alt-tab when it's minimised to the system tray. TC's behaviour in this case is not just silly, it's outright hostile design. If you want it to stay in alt-tab, don't minimise it to tray at all. That's how Windows works and how all Windows software behaves.

If you hate it so much try an alternative filemanager?

Good afternoon,
1. When copying from an archive, it is impossible to rename the file. What's in Double Commander!
2. In the folder synchronization window and in the search results window there is no quick view window, similar to сtrl+q
3. There is no mode similar to detailed + sketch,
4. The ico is not visible in the archives
5. Own set of buttons above each of the panels or a button next to the menu of favorite catalogs to align the display (сtrl+arrow)
6. Instant search similar to Everytyng, for example, together with a filter or as a filter
7. Ability to swap controls above panels for symmetry.

In the meantime I had forgotten that there is this nice list in this thread, so I have added it here again:
Directory Hotlist (Ctrl+D): add a (switchable) mode to show a tooltip
But it would not matter how an easier search would be implemented in the directory hotlist:
- as a search,
- as a tooltip or
- as a copy of the entire entry (name, command and path) to the clipboard.
But something like this should happen so that the handling is optimized.

but it can only be implemented when the SDK is updated to version 1.5.
This may not happen before Everything goes from Alpha to Beta status.

'Everything' 1.5 has been in alpha status since March 13 2021 - it must be one of the longest alpha tests in historyEverything goes from Alpha to Beta status

Re: What features you would like to have in version 11.50?
I only recently started using "Copy source path to clipboard"; it's been a great help, as I used to use Ctrl-P to copy the path to the command line, then copy it from there to the clipboard.
But it might be helpful for me see a tooltip appear for about two seconds to confirm that the path has been copied to the clipboard. "Path C:\Windows\System32 copied to clipboard" or something like that.
