OK I've set my tabs to be locked but with directory changes allowed.
I've also followed Lefteous's advice, and set "LockedGoToDriveRoot=1" in my wincmd.ini file.
So now, when I press CTRL + \, the tab goes to the root of the drive.
I can no longer directly go to the mother folder of the tab with a shortcut key.
My question: is it possible to set a key to go to the drive root, AND ALSO have another key go to the tab's mother folder? When the tabs are locked but with directory changes allowed?
I've read thru this thread and still can't figure it out heh. Any help is appreciated.
P.S. As Wanderer noted, "cm_GoToLockedDir" and "cm_GoToRoot" do exactly the same thing under these circumstances.
