UHA compression support?

Post by *DRP535 »

Are there any plug-ins or support within TC for the UHA Ultra High Multimedia Compressor format?

Yikes! Thanks for that Clo but... meh... that's waaaay too hard for this punter. I'll just stick with the UHA GUI itself until something better comes along.

Cheers.

Would be really cool if a future release of TC could incorporate WinUHA as a native archiver in much the same way as WinACE & WinRAR currently are. All three seem to work in much the same way. You can set the default archiving parameters in the GUI of the archiver and then just access it through TC thereafter.

WinUHA consistently outperforms both ACE & RAR (if you've got the time), so it would make a nice set if it could be included.

Unfortunately is Salvatore Ravidà, creator of WinUHA, not interested in making an UHarc-plugin for TC:

If you like to give MultiArc a chance anyway, you can find a MultiArc configuration for UHarc 0.6a here. There you also can read, that there are some other problems using SBC or UHarc with TC/MutiArc :(

Just extraction support would be nice then. Would that require the co-operation of Salvatore Ravidà as well?
