14. Click Apply

voila.
This way I can reproduce it.

Thanks for providing the exact steps to reproduce this error! Indeed TC was trying to aquire a database lock (via a so-called Mutex object, giving MUTual EXclusive access to the thumbs database). This fails with a timeout of 10 seconds because the mutex was not released in another thread. It was quite difficult to find, but easy to fix.

Hmm - I just tried it again with a complete virgin wincmd.ini - and reproduced it.

Anyway it seems that Christian has figured it out :-)

Hmm, one probably needs to use the thumbnail database to reproduce the error.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

Yes, this is correct, it only happens if you have set a thumbnail database name (even if the thumbnail database has never been used).
