Shortcut for sorting on custom column

Post by *solid »

I was looking but couldn't find.

Is there shortcut or internall command for sorting files/dirs based on custom column.
Different shortcuts for first, second, third and so on, like there is for custom views.

Or this should go in the REQ category?

Indeed there is no such internal command. But it's a good idea and quite easy to add, so I will try to add it to TC v7.

Nice!

Another thing, when I create custom column it would be very nice
if I can set what column should respond when I click the default shoutcuts:

CTRL+F3 (Sort by name)
CTRL+F4 (Sort by extension)
CTRL+F5 (Sort by date/time)
CTRL+F6 (Sort by size)

Screenshot how this could be solved:

I personally think that those keys should remain their funcionality, even when there is not date/size columns (name/ext must be present, at least until current version)

You know that you can do this already with Confiduration->Options-Misc: Redefine Hotkeys, don't you?

configuration for each custom column set.

The commands which I have added will be "sort column 1", "sort column 2" etc, and will therefore work with all custom column views and full view too.

Diese Antwort seitens Herrn Ghisler zeigt (mir) mal wieder, warum das Programm so erfolgreich ist. Weil da jemand ist, der den Überblick behält. So enfach kann das sein.
