Please don't take Lefteous' comment too serious, I'm sure he just missed to add a little to his answer.
The point is that only the author can decide if he wants to publish screenshots before the first public beta is released. I strongly assume that none of the alpha-testers (including me who designed the new icons) will give away any informations the author didn't approve. So let's see what he thinks about it...
About the 'arrogance' you mentioned:
I think almost all questions posted here are answered nicely and friendly.
But sometimes it is obvious that a user didn't even have a short look into the helpfile or did a very rough forum search before asking a simple question that was already answered 100s of times. In these seldom cases answers _might_ seem a bit arrogant as you said, but I never noticed one of the 'elders' here being offensive or inadequately rude. This is my personal impression of course.

But you should consider the final TC7 icons to be more like vicons4 version 2.0
During all the time since the last public release of the icons, I made a big bunch of adjustments and optimizations in overall appearance and coloring of the icons, so I hope you will be positively surprised when you see them (BTW, thanks a lot to the alpha testers for all suggestions and constructive discussions )...
