problem with compressing file ace

Sorry for my english,
I try compress some file with ace pack,

but i have a error "wrong parameters specifiead!"

in Configuration -> Packer -> i have put the correct path of ace32.exe

if possible I forget add some parameter ?

Make sure that the TempDir is a valid path.

I have tried with your's configuations setting's but don't do not work.

Open a command box in directory of Ace packer and type

What is your output?

the command ace a -r -s -m5 ACE ace32.exe functions perfect,
but if I tried wtih Totalcmd failed.
I don't understend what happend.

I try old backup ( totalcmd 6.55 with ace(2.04) )
and IT FUNCTION!!!!!.

new configurations totalcmd 7b2 with ace(2.6)
this configuration not function.

altenative configurations totalcmd 7b2 with ace (2.04)
FUNCTION!!!!

and now I think the programm ace32.exe ver. 2.6 accept a different
parameters.

Confirmed! Ace v2.6 does not work with TC7PB2 whereas Ace v2.04 properly works.

OK, seems to be a bug in ACE v2.6 then. Any ideas what parameters need to be changed to make it work again?

is correctly working for both ACE v2.04 and v2.6 from command line.

Have you tried to use a list file on the command line too? It's used with the @ option. Example:

ACE32.EXE -r -m5 -s a -f acefile.ace @listfile.txt

Same error when using Ace v2.6 with file list from command line.

Maybe someone could ask the ACE author why it doesn't accept the parameters...
