Keyboard shortcut to quickly type into Directory/address bar

I hope this is so obvious but I cannot find an easy way to get my cursor into the directory/address bar to immediately start typing a network path or directory, I have to click once or twice to get it editable.

I apologise if this is obvious but I've been using TC for so many years now and this is now bugging me

Press Shift+F6 while focus on [..] item.

Or assign the command cm_EditPath to a shortcut, an alias, a button or a menu item.

I have to click once or twice to get it editable.

Just click once and wait 1 second.

Thanks everyone, must admit I was kinda surprised that the legendary Alt+D shortcut that works in Windows Explorer and Internet Explorer and every web browser to take you to the address bar wasn't in there by default

At least I now know how to customize it, thanks.
