cd folder<tab>?

Post by *Timerider »

Hi TC Team!

I've been using TC for years now and really love it since I grew up using early versions of Norton Commander (DOS) and then Midnight Commander on Linux.

One thing which would be great is file name completion on the command-line AFTER a command, e.g. cd!

I use the keyboard as much as possible and although folder name suggestions appear in the drop box when I start typing a name at the beginning of the prompt It'd be even greater AFTER a command! (<folder><enter> opens windows explorer in that folder - NOT what I want ;-) )

Or have I missed some way to do this?

Thanks for any info!

Try and type:
cd .\
then TC knows that what is comming after .\ is a foldername
