Open folder from 'Synchronize Files'

Post by *bop sprengers »

After comparing two folders, TC shows the resulting filenames.
Many times I ask myself: What's This File ? Shall I sync or delete ?
The missing option here is 'Open containing folder', so I can launch
the file, and see what's in it.

++Agree.

There's an AHK script to do it. But yes I agree, I would like an option to force TC to always open SyncTool in Standalone mode (unless perhaps that already exists). Thus we could easily get back to the TC gui without closing Synchronize Dirs.
And all that would be needed is a small addition to SyncTool contextMenu "Go to File (under cursor)", Shift+Click on "Go to File" would open a New Tab :-)
*BLINK* TC9 Added WM_COPYDATA and WM_USER queries for scripting.

Maybe I am misunderstanding something here, but if you only want to "see" what's in the file(s) you can press F3 or Shift+F3 to see the content of the left or right file. Or you can right-click the file and use the menu.
