7.55a locks up on ftp

I have been having problems with 7.50 locking up on some but not all files that I am uploading to our server so downloaded 7.55a. However, I am still having this problem. I am able to upload these particular files fine in Windows Explorer but not from TC.

These files are no biger than the files that did go up without any problem. I have run several tests with another employee such as her adding the file and my downloading & retrying the upload; trying to upload to a different server; her emailing the file to me & my uploading it. The email worked. I was able to save the file to my hard drive & then uploading it but that was the only way TC allowed me to get it up.

I have seen older posts that complain about the locking up at 100% but nothing recent. I have been using TC for several years and never had the problem before 7/21

I am at a loss as to what to do next

All connection-oriented ftp clients have this problem with unstable connections. You can find a nice description in the FileZilla Wiki here:

The Explorer probably just uses one connection per file, and doesn't verify that the transfer was complete when the connection is lost.
